The Gates of Paradise.

“The Gates of Paradise” is a response to Ghiberti’s eponymous bas relief doors, which sculpt a narrative across ten gilded panels. These doors depict an origin story, marking the importance of thresholds that distinguish between narratives of the everyday, and encounters with the extraordinary. “The Gates of Paradise” questions which stories lie just beyond the various portals we encounter daily. What possible tales could lie just beyond these thresholds?
